Please choose an area in the level:
Area: | Strategy Tips: |
Supply, Security Area | 4 |
Sub-level Sewer | 2 |
Top floor, lab area | 1 |
Outdoor area | 3 |
1) In the room with the crossbow, there
is light switch. Use this light switch to your advantage.
The crossbow is conveniently positioned facing the door. You can darken the
room, hide behind
the boxes, and wait for an unsuspecting visitor, who will find it hard to
see you in the dark.
2) The security room: You will notice
that there is also a light switch in this room. This could also
be used in a similar manner, but not as effective. The red button!
Hmmm,....
This will cut out the entire Supply Area's
lights. Leaving the area in total darkness. A gate will also
block off the passageway, leaving fewer exits for other players who came
that passage.
You can also make good use of Satchel Charges
(Radio Control Bombs), when the area is in darkness,
but remember that if you use your flashlight, people can easily see
you...
3) The maintenance access to below the
stairs can be accessed by pressing your Use key. Once again
the Satchel Charges come in handy when people pass above, but don't get too
close to your own satchel,
or you're a real loser. Remember to close the hatch, so that future people
might not suspect other players
to be in there. This should apply to hatches...
4) There are many escape routes from
this area. In the main supply room (with the crates), there are two hatches
which go down into the sub-level (sewer) area. This area is very small, but
good enough to make surprize appearances.
You can go down one hatch, and pop up out of
another, or wait until someone walks into your tripmine trap under
the water. You can't see the beam from the surface of the
water.
Another escape route takes you outside, where the most of the action should happen...
1+2) This area has already been discussed above on the use of strategy, and stuff. 2 tips were given.
This floor is for maniacs.
No real strategy involved on this floor. There
are two rooms with light switches, but they aren't quite as useful as the
others are on the supply/security area.
1) Now this is where strategy really
comes into play. You will notice that there is small tunnel connecting 2
ends
of the area going underground (behind sandbags and crate section), this can
be used as an escape route, or...
You can also flush somebody out of there by using the small hole in the middle.
This is just the right size for
grenades, satchels, etc.
2) The small little "shack" can be used
in many ways. You can use it as a shield, while you fire, or you could
use it as an escape by making use of the hole on the floor in the corner.
So while people think you're still in there,
give 'em a surprise by popping up out of another hole.
3) If you know where the Egon gun is,
you know how to survive! I won't tell you where it is, but if you find it,
you should get a good idea of what you can do to survive the longest, unless
people plan a trap or ambush.
You'll see when ya find it!
